TMHPR Volunteers at the Dallas Pet Expo in June

We will be hosting an Animal Care Volunteer Training Session tomorrow, Wednesday 11th, and next Wednesday, July 18th, at 7:00 pm both days at the TMHPR Adoption Center in Richardson. The sessions are one-hour in length and will cover animal care, cleaning, and laundry duties at our Adoption Center.

We are currently looking for volunteers aged 16+ to help us with day-to-day Adoption Center maintenance and taking care of our fosters temporarily living there while they look for longer-term homes. Interested volunteers who want to help at the Center must attend one of the training sessions and commit to at least one (1) 45-minute shift per week, or 4 shifts per month, including at least one early morning, late night, or weekend shift per month. Available shifts are:

  • 8:30 am
  • 12:00 noon
  • 4:00 pm
  • 8:00 pm
Benefits include a volunteer t-shirt after one month of service, lots of unconditional love from the animals, our everlasting gratitude, and the knowledge that you are providing a critical service to the many, many animals in need who pass through our doors every month.

Please RSVP at info@takemehomepetrescue.com if you would like to attend one of the training sessions or you have any questions. Thank you for your support!
