Become a Foster

We could not do what we do without our wonderful fosters and their families. Fostering a pet can be both rewarding and challenging, but one thing stays true regardless: a committed foster gives a dog or cat a chance to live, a chance to learn love, and a chance to find his or her forever home. We always need more fosters, and we provide as much support as our fosters need, including:

• All veterinary treatment, including medications
• Monthly heartworm preventative
• Isolation boarding for 7 days
• Flea and tick treatment

Foster families typically pay for the following items out-of-pocket for their foster pet:

• Food, including prescription food
• Bowls
• Beds and crates
• Collars
• Leashes
• Toys
• Grooming
• Nail trimming
